Breaking barriers, building bridges

A leadership experience where youth grow through discipline, connection, and shared purpose.

SCB Fitness is hosting a free camp that brings together youth from different background to learn, train, and build something that last beyond this summer.

About us

What is SCB?

SCB Fitness is a movement built on Strength, Curiosity, and Boldness—three principles that shape how we train, think, and engage with the world around us.

Strength

Strength is meant to protect, not to oppress.

Curiosity

Curiosity is meant to seek understanding, not to invade privacy.

Boldness

Boldness is meant to uplift and inspire.

Why this work exists

Camp SCB was created in response to real challenges affecting youth in our communities.

Racism, discrimination, and systemic barriers continue to shape the experiences of many youth.

In order to address these barriers, youth require structure support, mentorship, and environments where they can build their strength through experience.

Mental health

In 2022, suicide was the third leading cause of death among Black youth aged 10-24 in North
America.

Systemic barriers

Underrepresentation within support systems contributes to gaps in trust and access.

Social environment

Many young people grow up navigating environments where safety, opportunity, and stability aren’t always guaranteed.

Alexia Bille

Radio-Canada

“Originally from Cameroon, Stanislas shares his journey from teenage immigrant to community leader, including a life-threatening encounter with medical racism that shaped his commitment to serving others.”
